Landscape with two figures conversing with a monk on the shore of a lake in the foreground beside an open antique coffin. A third man is seen pulling a net out of the water to the right. There is a fishing boat with a net cast beyond, with ruins in the centre across the water, a castle on the hill in the background and a tree framing the scene on the right.

Lettered below image with title, production detail: 'Richd. Wilson pinxit', 'James Roberts sculpsit' and publication line: 'Publish'd by J. Boydell, Engraver in Cheapside, London, 1765'
