On a low island in the left foreground is a church, with a procession entering it and other buildings, with cypresses to the left and a stone pine behind it to the right. In the lower right corner is a small boat with two men in it, the one on the right poling. The far distance at the right appears to be empty apart from a squat tower. Clouds can be seen in the sky to the left.
