Mount inscriptions
A note by Iolo Williams on the mount, no longer with the drawng, reads: 'An enlarged copy of a drawing in the Roman Sketchbook 1752 (VAM) [D53/15] was etched in soft ground by Whessell in 1810 [E60/16]. The above drawing was done from the 1752 sketch and not the etching. The paper is similar to that used for R. Lloyd's "Poems", 1774.'

Part of the lower right corner, including some of the monogram, is torn away. The top left corner is also missing, as well as a small piece from the top right corner.
