    The exhibition, held 'in honour of the memory of those distinguished artists and for the improvement of British Art', comprised 221 works, including 84 by or ascribed to, Wilson. (The authenticity of some was questioned by Wilson's pupil, Farington). Among the works exhibited were the following.
