    This landmark exhibition originated at the Tate Gallery (3 November 1982 - 2 January 1983) and toured to the National Museum of Wales (29 January - 20 March 1983) and the Yale Center for British Art (20 April - 19 June 1983). It comprised 147 works, including 56 drawings, two sketchbooks and two prints.
