    Biographical Details
    Captain Richard Ford was a British army officer, the elder son of Sir Francis Clare Ford, who inherited half of his collection at his death in 1899 and sold most of his Wilsons at Christie's on 14 June 1929. He lived at several addresses - latterly 53, Ennismore Gardens, London S.W.; previously 33, Brunswick Terrace, Hove and 'The Elms', Wisborough Green, Sussex.
