Walter Benjamin Tiffin was a print dealer and publisher who began his career in London on the staff of Hurst, Robinson & Co. in 1823 but later set up on his own. He acted as an agent for the British Museum and sold numerous prints to them as well as two Wilson drawings, D251 The Baths of Nero, and D325 The Children of Niobe. His collector's mark is Lugt 2609.
