This was an eight-volume expanded edition of two volumes first published in 1926 [Grant 1926] and a supplement (1947). Over 800 painters are listed and described and there are 367 black and white pls. with 739 figs overall. The section on Wilson appears in vol. 2, pp. 125-147 & figs 123-131 and includes lists of prints after his paintings, his pictures in public galleries and his pupils.
