Critical commentary
Seemingly a study from the life incorporated into Wilson's paintings of the same subject from a distance, notably P45
The Temple of the Sibyl and the Campagna
, National Gallery of Ireland, Dublin and versions. Possibly left incomplete by Wilson and some details filled in hurriedly later, for example the trees on the right.
