    Critical commentary
    Probably executed in Venice or shortly afterwards during Wilson's journey to Rome (1751-52). The paper bears the bottom half of an Italian 1747 watermark. The upper part of this watermark is found in the paper used for D36 A Fisherman's Dwelling.
