    Biographical Details
    Villiers David was a poet, painter, novelist, conversationalist, aviator and steeple-chaser. He collected sculpture from India and Europe, Picasso prints, Japanese woodcuts and drawings and paintings by Old Masters and contemporary artists. He travelled extensively in Europe and the Near and Far East. He owned drawings by Wilson including:
