    Biographical Details
    Colonel Grant of 18, Victoria Grove, South Kensington, London W.8, was a distinguished soldier who served in the Boer War and First World War. He was also a scholar and avid collector, who owned extensive collections of British landscapes and also granites and marbles. He was the author of numerous books and articles, most notably for Wilson studies Grant 1922, Grant 1926-47, Grant 1945, and Grant 1952.
